Description

Originating in Japan, Genmaicha, also known as "popcorn tea," offers a captivating nutty flavour that transcends borders. Beyond its delightful taste, Genmaicha is an ideal tea for detox. Embrace a holistic approach to well-being by adding Genmaicha tea into your daily routine, and let it guide you on a journey of taste and wellness.

At Tavalon, we're committed to quality. We meticulously select only the finest whole green tea leaves, harvested at their peak of freshness, to capture and deliver the essence of unparalleled quality to your cup

Genmaicha has its roots in 15th century Japan. It emerged as a clever solution to extend limited supplies of green tea by blending it with roasted brown rice. Over the centuries, it has evolved into a beloved tea, cherished for its unique flavour and potential benefits.

A cup of Genmaicha contains approximately 10-15ml of caffeine. This is roughly half of the caffeine content in classic green tea not having roasted brown rice.
