Absolutely 100% plastic surprisingly the hot water alone hasnt split it yet. Prior to putting hot water Obviously opened the box and wanted to immediately return then advised any opened product could not be returned? How do you know if the quality is any good if you can't open the box it arrived in, literally could get cheaper on Temu absolute waste of money
My teapot makes it easy to use tea leaves and herbs to brew and be able to sit on a cup to have the brew put straight in it. I bought this because my daughter in law has one and I wanted one for myself. Would recommend this to anyone.
