Duran® glass is mostly used in creating medical and laboratory equipment thanks to its high chemical and heat resistance, versatility, and strength. However, its stylish look has made it a top material for creating luxury, durable kitchenware.

How to Use the Gravity Teapot

  1. Put the loose tea in the teapot.
  2. Slowly pour hot water into the teapot, and close the lid.
  3. Once the tea has steeped sufficiently, place the Gravity Teapot on the glass or cup, and it fills your cup within seconds.
  4. By lifting the Gravity Teapot, the flow stops immediately.

Quality, Safety and Cleaning

  • Never touch the underside of the teapot during brewing tea.

"GLASS" Gravity tea pot. 3.5 out of 5.

It's not bad. I've waited and looked for a tea pot like this for a good 2-3 yr's now. Waiting for a company to release a glass version and TAVALON I'm fairly sure are the first. its good, but not perfect.

For starters the filter ring inside pot is covered by plastics, this was very disappointing. Almost making the glass tea pot pointless. Obviously its sits in boiling water, I don't care what anyone says high temp's and plastics SHOULD NEVER MIX!

Also but not surprisingly, pot only caters for normal width mugs. Not wide large mugs. They should of included small stems that stick out wider to activate pour, to cater for all mugs sizes.

The glass chamber could be a tiny bit bigger say to hold 550ml's. That way one could get two normal cups out of one brewing. There are tiny gaps between the glass and plastic casing i cant seem to get into to clean. So that also is very disappointing. But over all, these aren't complaints. Maybe TAVALON could work on a V.2 and correct all these little annoyances. over all satisfied with it. 3.5 out 5 stars I would give it. (If price was better would give it a 4/5. but its fairly expensive for how little glass is there)

Thank you for your valuable feedback about the all-glass design, Kordian.

We completely understand your preference for a fully glass teapot, and we've actually explored many different approaches to achieve this. Due to the unique gravity mechanism and the structural requirements needed to make it function reliably, we found that creating an entirely high-quality glass version presented significant challenges with both durability and the precision needed for the gravity release system.

However, we're not giving up! We continue to research and develop new ways to improve the design while maintaining the functionality that makes our Gravity Teapot special. Your feedback is incredibly valuable in guiding these future improvements, and we truly appreciate customers like you who help us understand what tea enthusiasts are looking for in the perfect brewing experience.
