Tea Recipe: Colonialist Cocktail

In order to prepare for my tea cocktail session at the World Tea Expo, I’ve been whipping up libations like crazy!

Here is one of my best, with a markedly English disposition – appropriately dubbed The Colonialist Cocktail.

Tea Recipe to Make The Colonialist Cocktail

  • 1½  oz. gin
  • 2½  oz. Earl Grey Reserve tea, chilled
  • ½ oz. fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz. Cointreau
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • orange wheel (optional garnish)

Procedure:

1. Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice.

2. Strain into chilled martini glass, then add the orange wheel.

Enjoy!
