Be Mindful of Chamomile Tea
Feeling a bit anxious or stressed? Try steeping up some relief.
According to a recent study, people who ingested chamomile tea were much less likely to succumb to the stress. The research, done by the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, found that those who suffered from generalised anxiety disorder experienced significant relief from symptoms after ingesting chamomile tea for eight weeks, compared to people who took a placebo.
The study then went on to conclude that chamomile may not only have an anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) effect, but also a “clinically meaningful” anti-depressant effect.
So drink some tea today – you’ll feel better!
